Hi, I’m Michaela
For over seven years, I’ve had the honor of documenting love stories as they unfold — from wedding days to growing families and everything that follows.
I photograph with a calm presence and an attentive eye. I’ll gently guide you when needed, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and make sure you feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

I know every wedding day is different and as such I create a personalised timeline just for you. Before your wedding day, we’ll go through your day, including your 'must have' photos. This way I know I will capture every photo you want and need on your wedding day.

Venue Scouting Research
To capture the best photos, it is important to know the cute hidden spots near your venue. So I will actually research a few spots if you don’t have any must-have locations. That way I can get those winning photos without wasting any time on your wedding day.
Edited Photos within 8 - 10 Weeks
As I mentioned, I actually edit every photo myself, So you can enjoy and re-live your beautiful day a lot quicker. Not to mention if there are any photos you would like changed I can also re-edit them for you!

Michaela was kind enough to help us out at short notice when we decided to go ahead with our wedding during Covid-19 restrictions earlier this year. I had one main rule - virtually be invisible and get natural shots of the day. Michaela was perfect, with suggestions for some subtle shots and she was never invasive or bossy (my biggest fear!) it was a pleasure to work with her. She even helped me get into my dress and formally witnessed our marriage seeing as we weren't allowed guests - we are so grateful for her help and highly recommend her for weddings and events.

Getting ready is an exciting part of the day that deserves to be captured.
From the little details like shoes and flowers to the laughs with your family, friends and bridesmaids, there is nothing quite like the first time they see you in the dress and then you take a moment just to look at yourself in the mirror and realise that you are getting married!

Groom Prep…
I love the groom’s prep shots because lets face it, the white shirt isn’t going to remain wrinkle free for long! This is a great time to get photos with the boys, just natural and then a few smiling, laughing and even silly ones.
Usually guys don’t like photos but if it’s for a wedding and they’re all dressed up, they can get more excited than anyone especially if their family is around!

Need I say more? Photographing the ceremony is more than just capturing that first kiss. It’s capturing the laughs, joy and tears of not only you and your partner but all your guest too! I know how important they are to you and want you to remember them cheering you on!

My favourite photos to look back on, are from the hour we take after the ceremony (Or when you decide to do the ‘First Look’) where we can capture the first moments of you being married.
